Biography
David A. Okonkwo advises closely held companies on formation and governance, operating and shareholder agreements, commercial contracts, and the purchase and sale of businesses. He also handles commercial real estate transactions and leasing.
His practice is built on the view that most commercial disputes are decided by documents drafted years earlier. He gives detailed attention to the agreements that govern a relationship before any disagreement arises.
Prior to joining the firm he worked in corporate finance, and he brings that background to the valuation and diligence questions that arise in transactional matters.
